 AlonzoE has been writing songs b4 2000.  Born and raised in Indianapolis, his first instrument was the drumset his father would give to him each Christmas starting at the age of 6.  The sets would'nt last too long as he would play with such passion, the cheap paper sets would soon be no match and were defeated.  Thus the following X-mas, another set was priority 1 since until the age of 9.  He later played alto sax in school but always prefered the drums.  Zo toyed with rap and drum machines as a young teen, and graduated from these to become a well rounded multi-instrumentalist/songwriting/musician.  Some of his influences are obvious and then others may surprise.  Everything from Marvin Gaye, to Kiss, to Jazz fusion artists such as Return to Forever and the Mahavishnu Orchestra.  His father would play 50's-60's music while brother and sister would be playing 70's and 80's.  Growing up watching the music world of Vh1, Mtv, and BET, he saw the obvious pitfalls of the industry as far as the effects of drug and alcohol abuse there as well as how it effected those he loved and cared about in the community.  His vision from the start has clearly been one to elevate minds and hearts with song and dance to help reduce the focus on such negative activities.  He's went on to compose, perform, and produce many songs and is currently looking for musicians to network and/or perform live with.
